Bereavement counselling could be for you if...

  • You feel isolated because the initial shock has passed, everyone else has gone back to normal, and you feel expected to move on before you are ready.

  • You are feeling completely overwhelmed by a confusing mix of emotions, like anger, guilt, or numbness, and find it difficult to talk about them with family or friends.

  • You feel stuck in your grief, finding it hard to cope with daily life or imagine a future that feels stable again.

  • You want a confiedntial, dedicated space to talk openly about the person you lost and process the messy reality of life without them, completely at your own pace.

About Me

I am a fully qualified, BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, having gained my MSc from Birkbeck, University of London. Over the past four years, I have worked across a diverse range of clinical, social, and private settings, supporting people from all walks of life through their most challenging moments.

A core foundation of my experience was spent within a Central London hospice, where I worked closely with individuals facing acute grief and the complex aftermath of loss. Alongside this, I have worked on long-term psychiatric mental health wards, supporting individuals with severe psychological struggles through the delicate process of stabilising and making sense of their internal worlds.

Beyond formal clinical settings, my perspective has been shaped by direct work with people facing difficult life crossroads. I have served as a mentor for young offenders, facilitating their psychological transition from confinement back into the community, and worked as a befriender for those enduring chronic loneliness and isolation.

My specialisation in grief and trauma is professional, but it is also deeply personal. Having been through my own significant losses, I know exactly how exhausting and messy the reality of grief is. I understand the sudden waves of sadness on ordinary days, the unexpected guilt, and how lonely it feels when the rest of the world goes back to normal.

Before establishing my full-time private practice, I worked within established private clinics, which allowed me to refine a highly tailored, individual approach to therapy. This background has given me extensive experience working with clients facing a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and grief.

Whether you are navigating a recent loss or looking to process one from your past, I offer a warm, empathetic online space for us to think about and navigate it together on your terms.

The first step is often the hardest. Book a no-obligation, 15-minute chat to discuss what brings you to therapy and how my psychodynamic approach can help.
